Staedtler

Staedtler is one of Germany’s oldest pencil companies and can be traced back to the 1600s. However the company was founded not until 1835 when Johann Sebastian Staedtler, who learned the profession from his father, decided to turn the small-scale production into a more extensive operation. Today Staedtler carries a wide range of pencils, watercolor pencils, markers and other art supplies.
