The Deskset is a beloved classic. The Swedish artist Charlotte Olsson has designed the beautiful pattern with Champagne bottles and gilded details to complete the exclusive model.
The original pattern was made out of recycled broidery, laces and textiles. To reuse the pattern on the Deskset it was adjusted to some extent. It is the gilded details that Charlotte Olsson adds in the last steps which makes this work of art something very special. The production of the Desksets started in 1961, just one year after the Ballograf Epoca, and it is known to be one of Ballograf’s iconic products. They are still produced in Sweden and are assembled by hand in seven steps – this is how we control the outcome of the product and it enables us to verify the life-long warranty on our products.
All Desksets are delivered with a Ballograf original refill with blue, certified Swedish archive ink in a medium nip. The writing length of the cartridge is 8 000 m.
