Rollerballs
A rollerball uses the same technology as a standard ballpoint pen, but contains a more fluid ink. The ink, which is mostly water or gel based, are more susceptible to dehydration than usual ballpoint ink and that is why rollerballs almost always have cap instead of pushing or turning mechanism. Rollerball ink is absorbed by the paper to a greater extent than usual ink which gives a very smooth and effortless typing experience.
