1912 Walter A. Sheaffer invested his life savings and founded “The WA Sheaffer Pen Company” in Ford Madison, Iowa. In the beginning, the company manufactured only fountain pens and the products quickly gained a good reputation thanks to its high usability. Today the range also includes a series of popular ball point pens and roller balls.
